Using our Vehicles
Horizon Health Access utilizes many types and sizes of vehicles for job-sites that do not have an available trailer, or where job-site conditions are insufficient for performing our testing function.  Horizon Health Access personnel are highly experienced in performing surveillance evaluations at the job-site.

Scheduling
Job-site visits for the performance of blood work will be able to be scheduled on either a monthly basis or more frequently if necessary, according to the needs of the company.  We currently require at least 3 to 4 days notice so that scheduling can be done appropriately for these visits and that preparation and staffing concerns can be met.  However, we are amenable to processing the exception or urgent requests within our capabilities. Job-site visits for the performance of pulmonary function tests and/or blood work will be able to be scheduled on either a monthly basis or more frequently if necessary, according to the needs of the company. We currently require 3 business days notice so that scheduling can be done appropriately for these visits and that preparation and staffing concerns can be met.

Reporting
The lead & ZPP reports will have a 72-hour turnaround time during which time a faxed copy of the summary sheet summarizing all the values of the individuals whose tests have been made available to us will be sent out to you.  A formal printout with an interpretation as to normal, abnormal, or abnormal with concern for need for treatment, will be received within 5 business days.

Pulmonary function tests will similarly require 5 business days for preparation and receipt of the report.  A copy of all documents for the test report will be made available to the employer and a separate identical copy will be made available for distribution to the employees.  Each transmission will be sent with identifying notations on the packet to facilitate distribution of the results to the employees.

Abnormalities
If a test report is strikingly abnormal or dangerously so, you will receive a phone call from our office in order to discuss management and possible sources of the abnormality.  We at Horizon Health Access find that this is the only acceptable method of managing such cases and have based our success on positive outcomes from communicating with the safety officers on each specific job.
